I'm the founder of The Breath Circle and a certified breathwork coach and I want to tell you something I wish someone had told me sooner:

Not in a "just take a deep breath" way. In a profound, nervous-system level way, one that can genuinely shift the anxiety, the racing thoughts, and the feeling that your body is permanently on high alert.
I know this because breath changed my life. More than that — it gave me my life back.
MY STORY
I know what it feels like to not be able to breathe properly. As a child, I used to hyperventilate, my breath would tighten and my mind would spiral and I couldn't find my way back to calm.
By the time I was twenty, I had my first full panic attack. The racing heart, the sense that something was terribly wrong, the complete loss of control over my own body.
I didn't know then that my breath and my anxiety were connected. I just thought this was who I was.

As I got older, I dealt with it the way a lot of us do — I kept busy. A high-pressure career in finance. A full family life. A schedule that never had a gap in it. Always moving, always doing, always onto the next thing.

Looking back, I can see what I was really doing: I was running. From stillness. From my own thoughts. From the feeling that if I ever stopped and sat with myself, something difficult might surface.

I wasn't connected to my body. I wasn't connected to my breath.
"I wasn't an anxious person.
I was a person who felt anxious.
And that difference changes everything."
It took burning out for me to finally stop. And in that forced stillness, I found breathwork.

The first time I breathed consciously, something released that I hadn't even known I was holding. I felt my body again. I felt myself again — not the busy, braced, disconnected version, but something quieter and truer underneath.

That was the moment I came home to myself.

I founded The Breath Circle for anyone who has been keeping themselves so busy they've lost the thread back to who they are. For anyone who felt anxious as a child and carried it quietly into adulthood. For anyone who has had a panic attack and wondered: will this ever get better?
